EB-5 Stakeholder Call

USCIS will hold a Stakeholder call on February 3, 2016, to answer EB-5 questions. But questions must not be case specific, and often USCIS refuses to answer “policy” questions. I will report on the call.

2015 Surge Of EB-5 Petitions

There was a surge in I-526 petitions filed in the fall of 2015 as the proposed EB-5 extension statute would have increased the investment amount and made other changes. (Instead, the current statute has been extended to September 30, 2016) There are now about 17,000 I-526s on file.
