USCIS Extends Initial Registration Period for Haitian TPS

On January 21, 2010, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) designated Haiti under the temporary protected status (TPS) program for a period of 18 months. DHS initially established a 180-day registration period from January 21, 2010, through July 20, 2010. A new notice (PDF) extends the TPS registration period through January 18, 2011.
